Black Tusk as viewed from Whistler Peak. The foreground Inukshuk stone markers seem to stand in quiet imitation. According to Natural Resources Canada, the Black Tusk is considered to be the remnant of a stratovolcano. The Black Tusk was "perhaps the conduit for lava within a cinder-rich volcano. The loose cinder has eroded, leaving only the hard lava core." The exposed lava rock of the core is loose and friable. It is also black, giving the mountain its name and character.
Remarkable panoramic!!!Enjoyed the earthly colours in the background and the abstract formations of rocks. Beautiful presentation, Eb! Best regards, Gabriela
A remarkable shot of a lovely place! This is really beautiful Eb - perfect exposure, depth and great colour and texture/sharpness. Great work my friend. Joggie
