About This image (3301) was shot in Fremont's Tost on 24 June 2006.

The blue is a backlit glass panelled art work on the wall.

This image has been shrunk and resized and I slightly adjusted the brightness (-15) and the contrast (+5).

This is the third in a series I have posted using this glass panel as a subject. I have (finally) included a still from the bar (see my comment in the thread below) so you can see what the thing actually looks like.

Here are the other two images:

Jani - Thanks. I think I'm inclined to agree. Not just because this one has some important symmetry but also because the totally black background I think works better.

Toshi - Thank you. I have been devoting a lot of my photographic time to creating and diversifying my luxagraphic collection. It's nice to be appreciated.

Hi James,
I really like your long exposure light play images. There are so many colorful variations achievable and the results are always fascinating to view. Wonderful work.

Alicia - Sí, es verdad. Las formas creadas habla un vocabulario y las formas naturales (verdaderas) un otro. Gracias por visitarme.

Roger - Thank you, old friend. And finally the unveiling of the still-shot. It's not an art installation but simply part of the decor of the bar. There is a matching glass panel on the top of the bar (also with blue illumination). I wasn't able to fit that in the shot (I'm no monkey), but it's a nice place to receive your pint and put down your money. It is just a large piece of glass in the wall with a blue light at the top (needs replacing 'cause it's dying) and another at the bottom.

Rather boring without the luxagraphic touch.
