Normally, I'm not a big fan of the blurry image. But I love Butchart Gardens and this image is just very well done!! Very eye catching. Feels 3D!!

I'll post a shot I did up at Discovery Park recently. It's small purple flowers in a green field. Look for it tomorrow. Should be up by around 10am Pacific. The brushstrokes are pretty good, but I really wanted more color variety.

You're right dear James, it's not easy to get a perfectly blurred image, there are many conditions that come into play in order to produce a good effect. Good subject helps, I will try to difusse the image a bit in further tests.

Getting closer. I've been looking for a patch of flowers as diverse as this one for doing a similar shot. It's not easy to get the motion (and timing) just right in order to create believable brushstrokes in the photograph. See you around.
