Thanks Michele . . . very correct about the locale. My first award, a DoD for "Pacific Focus" came from flowers shot at this locale! There's beauty everywhere . . . but sometimes . . . a place will slap you and FORCE you to notice! This is one of those places!

The Pointe Vincente Lighthouse is best viewed from the Pointe Vincente Lightshouse Interpretive Center. There's a small park there and if you walk along the fence you can get some images of the lighthouse - but don't even think about climbing over the fence! The center is located at: 31501 Palos Verdes Dr. West. It's just around one of the bends in the road.

Hey Carlen! The lighthouse is off to the right and not visible here . . . but IS visible here (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1096553) & (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1096555) here. I may be shooting it again later since the older images seem very soft to me. I've kept the older, softer shots up for now but I've (hopefully) improved enough to give it a better go!
