This is a terrific shot with good detail and colours. It conveys a real sense of purpose in the birds.
I'm undecided as to whether the blurred bird in the background adds to the image, but have at least decided that it doesn't detract from it...

I just acquired a 300mm f/2.8 Canon lens and will be posting some pics with that lens soon. First tests indicate it will improve my chances at that elusive, one-shot capture.

Awesome capture of these spoonbills in flight Darlene! The soft pink hues of the feathers on it's wingspan look great and the blurred spoonbill in the background adds nice depth. Perfect timing and capture.
