I see what you mean about the eye lashes and guitar strings!He was part of a Panda-not th bear!;it refers to a group of musicians who play a kind of folkmusic called Verdiales-typical of the mountain villages in the province of Malaga.To get shots like this you have to hang around them until they get used to your presence and then capture an expression or gesture from really close up-you can even read what's written inside the guitar in this shot!!
