so sam... my dear friend.. this "foca" is so delicate and tender like your tribute in this photo, the horizontal cut is sign of quitness, like this hawaiian monk..!

It's great Sam, I lived in Hawaii on the island of Oahu for a few years in the 80's but I never saw one of these...you lucky thing. Taken in nice lighting, with good details, nice exposure and colors, good choice of cropping...very well done :)

Oh, the life of a seal! If it weren't for those pesky sharks trying to make a meal out of me, I think I'd like to come back as one in another life!  You have captured him perfectly Sam...
content to sunbathe, oblivious to the world around him! Great composition to include a little piece of everything beautiful, wonderful color, and perfect dof to first draw attention to Rip Vanwinkle, then take in the landscape! A pleasure to view my friend!
