Thanks Sam, glad you like it. No PS work on this other than cropping a little from the bottom and pumping up the greens and reds slightly. If you look again you'll see the stem and stamen are at the same distance away from my lens (thats why they are both in focus)...while the petals are actually closer. Sorry to say Sam, I aint any good in PS (only basic's). With macro's I move around a lot with both eyes open looking for that 'sweet' shot :)

Peta, I Love the Strength that this shot has.
Your DOF is perfect and the vibrance of the stamen and pistals are amazing.

If it wasn't the blur tool. Can you tell me how you got the top and bottom in focus and the middle blurred.
