Beautiful light and colors here Dave, the textures of the wings really look like velvet...I know they are soft and with a dusty appearance, you captured it well, and nicely composed too..well done!! :)

Interesting shot, Dave. It is spectacular. With the strong light, you have good contrast and separation from the background. The background seems to be in the same colour pallette as the butterfly's. It is warm and richly tonned!
