I personally like the ghostly effect created by the child slightly moving. The composition evokes some primal emotion. Very well done. :) Andree

That is just me on the beach with a tripod as one of my sons was playing in the water with the moonlight, the top half a silhouette, and the bottom a reflection. I barely retouched that shout and that is in full colour not B&W! I posted you four wedding shots among the hundreds that I felt captured the evening. I am home from vacation and finally able to do some post work. Hope you enjoy.

PS I liked your self portrait in the glass ball....that is something I would do :)

This is a great image. I love the duality of the image, it gives a feel of the surreal. The color is good, adding to that feeling. The upraised arms give it a joyous feeling, and create great patterns. If it were me, I would not use the filter, as this tends to blur the "top"half. I always like a sharp half in a water photo, it adds to the depth and "beleivability" of the image.

This is quite an eerie photograph because both the subject and the reflection look like reflections. How did you do that?

From a crtic's point of view its a lovely simple composition, the B&W works well, it emphasises the moonlight. I like the symmetry, it's similar up and down, left and right. I also like the way that the division between the subject and the reflection is obscurred. Intriguing work. Well done. Cathy

Try explaining to a 12 year old in the water that they can't move during a long exposure! :) I was lucky to make this work, thanks for the comments, its obvious from your work you are more experianced in long exposures! Very Nice.

Must have been a little subject motion. I like the effect this gave to the boundries of the silhouette, especially the almost non-existent arm. Well shot.
