Sue you want about f16 and your shutter speed wants to be some where near one second or thereabouts. Its a bit hit/miss.depends on the flow of water etcbut in general a slow shutter speed and small apperture.

Gorgeous effect of the water here... love the toning & those rocks at the bottom really add well... trying to master this myself at the mo.... put one on of the garden cascade last week though still unable to get this dreamy effect. How slow was your shutter speed here & your aperture settings? Or did you use a lens?
