I very muich like this shot, too. I like the angle you have chosen for both photographs. In trying to decide which I like more, I think it is the one with the cabin in it. Not sure why but maybe because it almost produces a more vintage authenticity to the truck.
Best wishes, Dave

Well done, Ameed! Your monochrome conversion and tinting emphasised the tone and texture of the old metal. In terms of the crop, I am of two minds. Taking some off the left side draws the eye to the car better. On the other hand, the expanse of space is also pleasant. Eb

Wonderful composition and light Ameed, I love the coloration as well, great work. I found an old Plymouth in a jungle of trees and weeds, working on it now. Thanks for your recent comment and keep on shooting, Cary

I cannot add much, since so much has already been said, but I do like the way you've toned the car to stand out from the rest. At first, I wasn't sure about Saeed's crop suggestion, but now I see what he means. A very nice photo, Ameed!

Saeed Saeed Saeed, I always look forward to your in depth critique, I like your honesty and it is highly appreciated. I totally agree with you regarding the cropping, I don’t know why it is the kind of event that you don’t get to notice it unless someone point it out to you. Luckily I took many shots for this old lion, minimized them to 3, and in the next one I will apply the cropping and the square image technique. I was a bet worried from the way the toning will be received, I was kind of afraid it might look over processed, But I am glad you liked it. Thanks and kind regards,

Oh my dear Ameed this is awesome. I can only imagine how excited you must have been to see this. Beautifully captured indeed...love the tones and the light. I really like that you captured it under the shelter of the tree as if it's trying to protect it from further decay...wonderful image well captured!

Am always attracted to those kind of subject where those old cars in mid of the field, I think the tone used here of great choice, you put it in a CM, I think had a nice many suggestions, but that is how we look at a subject from our background composition techniques, IMHO a crop from the left side and a bit of upper space to show more of the dominant tree where this car lays in peace. Though great work from you. Regards Saeed

Nice one. I love these old cars, laid to rest to very slowly return to the earth. You've done a good job with the toning here, it suits the shot well. I'd have been tempted to crop the left side for a more square format and concentrate more on the car. Regards, Gary

The more I look at this the more I like it. Initially the dark tree seemed a little too dark, but I got up and walked away for awhile, then walked back to the screen looking at it from a distance. I like the toning that you've used, it certainly adds to the atmosphere. My personal opinion is that it would be more dynamic if cropped into a panoramic format. Top find though, and well worth your time and processing!
