About You may have been wondering "just how abstract can James make these Luxagraphic images?" Well, this week I think we'll explore exactly that question.

This image (5792) was shot in Discovery Park on 30 July 2006.

More light through trees.

This image has been resized, shrunk, I have changed the brightness (+20) and contrast (+10), and I have added the matting.

Questions and comments are always welcomed.

Erin - Thank you. I really like the strokes in this one. I titled it Still Wet because it looks like it has been freshly painted.

So impressionistic—calming, smoothing, and graceful

Roger - I really like the way the 'brush strokes' run in many directions. Thanks a lot, even if you didn't finish your thought.

Thanks, Tuna. You are right about doing Luxagraphic images without bulbs. Shutter times are usually shorter and thus you have to wiggle faster and more accurately. Embarassing if someone else comes along the path. Claim epilepsy.

great luxagraphic image.Green, brown colors and its blurity make it look like a painting.I think it is pretty hard to get it without an actual light source.Congratulations, best regards.
