Yes I love B&W as a medium and I find seemes to bring out a hidden beauty in subjects often lost in colour. Chris, this is an absolutely beautiful portrait and photograph in a magnificant portfolio. I noticed that many of your photographs are b;ack/white. It is said that to truly appreciate photography, one must first appreciate the black/white photograph. Something I learned while studying professional photography, and it is so true. It is also a concept that it is more difficult to compose a photograph in black/white, which I believe is also true. Your black/white photographs are composed magnificantly. Your color ones too. I truly enjoyed viewing your portfolio.
