Yeah, you can probably get some cool reflections out of this globe. They would have some interesting segmentations.
I was thinking about exploiting the light that shines through the globe, such as that which you can see on the wood within the shadow of the globe in this image.
Yes, I agree. More of a macro composition would be good also.

It's Ah-float James *tesing... float ,globe, ball, I know what you're saying. You're right .I tried to get some reflections from the other 2 gazzing balls but this would be the better choice... which reminds me it looks much better blown up too...

This is a pretty cool globe. Looks like you can probably get some good shots using the light that passes through it.
