A fellow who just married one of our camera club members may give us a brief class on Photoshop. He is very skilled. The interesting thing...he invited me and another woman to give presentations, along with himself, on our techniques, at the 4C's Convention this year. The Columbia Council of Camera Clubs includes all of the Northwest U.S., so that is a great honor for my humble self. Fortunately, the convention will be fairly close this year...on our Oregon coast.

You never cease to amaze me with these amazing photoarts and the skill that you have in creating such work from two or more images. Again your model is posed perfectly in a wonderful pose that is seductive yet high in innocent charm. (Can't make out if this is Anna or not? The hair doesn't look like Anna's). The spirit rising from the whirlpool is breathtaking and the water effects totally stunning. The whole composition leaves me in awe of you. The postwork techniques from a 'simple' programme leave me wondering to what extent your talents can reach when you acquire one of the greater in-depth programmes from the likes of Adobe. Well done to you my sweet Shirley for yet another first-class post. Wonderful conversion to mono tones BTW.
I know you have won an EC award whilst I was working and I will come up to that one in due course as I tackle all my backlog in the order they were posted. Somewhat annoyingly I may have to go into work for a short while today and I am still not rested after the Mon/Tues/Wed episodes.
