Dave, I appreciate the comments and perhaps we shall bump into each other sometime on the trail, you seem pretty active yourself. My father said I would never look up at the two Lions from Vancouver the same way again, and he is right, it is just different after you have been to the top, I must be hooked!

Larissa, I have seen your work so I take that as a great compliment, thank you. Tango everywhere was already copied to a favourites folder :)

Very nice photo, Chris. This one should become a family pic on somebody's wall. Excellent foreground, for a classical mountaineering shot, good DOF. I was there 20 years ago, thanks for the memories.

Only in Vancouver could you do that in a day and still be home for a late dinner! The coastal range of mountains extends inland several hundred km and then north along the coast for well over a 1000km to the Yukon and Alaska. Here's one last picture taken by another climber of both of us on that final face as we work our way up.....which for the record is not nearly as terrifying as coming back down :)

The range goes on forever. Your dad looks pretty fit! This looks very high. I'm impressed. (with the landscape and the fact that you are both tackling it.) Cathy
