thank you it was taken inside with 1600iso and a older midrange zoom.

no flash allowed, i tried all the focusing spots active.

but as this hunted quite a bit, i put it on the central one and hoped for the best.

thanks for you comment,

she was doing a kata from sedio karate.very fast moving.

i could not use flash so it was 1600iso and a only had a slowish lens.

but thats one of the joys of digital cameras, keeping until you think you have what you want.

i have photoshopped the image more thanks to yours and other comments.

Very interesting perspective piece Peter. A click off on the facial focus, a bit more detail would have set it up nicely. Busy background is a distraction, but the composition is very nice. Beautiful expression of concentration. A subject seldom seen in this light. Very nicely composed. Nice light, nice color contrasts. -john
