Excellent landscape Jo. All the elements of a great image: good composition with strong lines leading into the distance, great light and exposure, dramatic sky and lovely texture and detail. One for the wall! Great work.

Thankyou Jos - ah but it's missing one of our black faced sheep. On one of the other sites the sheep became a sort of trademark of mine.

Thankyou Philip - this is one of my favourite spots, just ten minutes from my home, I've pictures it with many moods.

This Adrian really needs to sort his wall out. Doesn't look like it's been maintained in centuries.
You're on to something here... this would probably have made a "nice" photo on a nicer day... but with weather putting its hand up, it's an extremely dramatic shot. I'd be hussling back there were I you. With a raincoat.

Jo, it seems to me that your "natural" soul is divided betwee flowers and landscapes (Northumerland). While you trasform floral pictures in almost graphic works the landscapes instead live of special lights: sunset, fog, after the storm ...
I love both!
