About This image (1296) was shot on 25 January 2006 in San Jose.

I don't recall the blue light source, but it was probably some kind of blue neon source. The blue is a very hard color to get saturated well and I took several shots working to limit the other light sources from the iimage. I think this one came out quite well.

The image has been cropped, resized, rotated, and shrunk.

Questions and comments are always wecome.

Tuna - Interesting, because I had in mind images I've seen of Shiva as a lotus, opening. Here is something like what I'm talking about:

I perhaps Final Fantasy also used these motifs in creating their spirits.

Marija - Thank you. This is a personal favorite, but it doesn't seem to be very popular. So it goes. The crowds can be so fickle.

I like the tartan-like pattern and it really seems 3D now. Yellow fits in nicely as a complement. Interesting images you make, James..I enjoy watching them letting my imagination play.

Max - Thanks. I like the ethereal quality which I think is what you are picking up on. I thought it looked like a lotus flower, but here it is electric or technological.

It reminds me some kind of science fiction movie. Very original work! Thank you for your comments, Max
