Hahaha...good question, the truth is I don't miss anything, but I do notice the high quality of the images taken with the 5D, perhaps a direct result of the higher pixels? But in fact, I've decided I'd rather paint for awhile and that I'm happy with what I've got for now. Then again what do you think of the full sensor? And I like the idea of designating it as my wide angle camera, and using the 20D for my telephoto lens thereby eliminating the need to continually change lenses, and getting the sensor dirty. Sorry you're so busy, but I know it's also time well spent...my best to you Ned...:)

hi Linda, I'm not sure when they are going to release them! actually i've been really too busy to do anything apart from university! However, forget about the 400D as it's an upgrade for the 350D, and i'd guess you're after something better than your 20D, right?! what makes you consider the 5D? i just wonder what you miss in the 20D and find in it in the 5D!! is it the extra few megapixels or what?! best wishes, ned.

Hi Ned, thanks for that information :), right now my life is so busy, that that might just be the best idea...to wait, do you know when they will be out and do you know the difference between the 5D and the 400D. I hope things are going well for you Ned, I look forward to your new posts...my best to you, Linda

thanks a lot, Linda. about the lens, it's excellent! i like it. however, compared to the canon 70-200mm f/2.8 (i've tried the one without IS), it's much slower when it comes to focusing!! if money isn't an issue iwould recommend the canon lens.
the 5D is a great lens, no doubt! maybe you'd like to wait for the new canon cameras and then decide on your new purchase! they have already launched the 400D. most propably they will release their professional cameras in a month time. best wishes.

Hello again Ned :) I love this one because of the splashing water and the way his eye is closed, he is just having a wonderful time, it has a peaceful feeling to it..very nice DOF and love the freeze action on those water drops. How do you like that lens, as compared to the Canon. I'm thinking about getting the 5D...so good to see you again dear friend...:) Linda
