Yeah, I feel the same way about this one too. Not my typical style, but something about the scene just begged to be photographed...
Thanks for swinging by and leaving such great comments Ashley, I'm off to take a squiz at watchya got... :)

I like the way that the perspective flowingly meanders through the photograph. Also the contrast of the black with the almost fluorescent markings really keeps your eye. The leaf on the side seems to add that little bit, it seems to keep the photograph real somehow. Very nice capture.

This is an ultra-cool photo, I love the way it leads you right down the path. And the wet black pavement, fabulous with the colored numbers. Great!!
Best wishes, Dave

Great perspective. One wants to keep looking beyond the capture into the deep unknown. The pattern is perfect for this fade in the background look. Very creative and great eye in seeing this wonderful capture. Kelly

Thanks Andre! Lots of bright paint colour doesn't really make for a sad image, does it? Sad part is that the rain here refuses to quit and I can't get back out to the beach! The toys there are in serious need of rescuing... ;D Cheers!

Hi Rina, There is no doubt about it. An empty playground or abandoned toys can really evoke those sad, lonely feelings. But, for some reason this looks like a happy playground to me... Go figure! Andre

Hi James, yeah I guess it's a game of sorts. Didn't have anything like that when I went school, and I had to pinch chalk from the classroom so I could draw my own hopscotch on the ground... no paint back in my day, obviously ;D Actually, I thought this kinda looked more like a giant sperm. Can't imagine why...

Good one,cookie...like the serpentine segmented DNA looking ladder..LOL..perfect composing with that selective focus and i love the contrast level ...The lone leaf is like an asterisk and is a cool element...if had ended on #21,it would have been perfect!...hehehe cheers,non-blond gayle ;>

Oh, Rina, this is a very attention grabbing image!
A fine example of a wonderful composition that leads the viewer deep into a scene, and beyond!! The colours and the lines are striking - a visual feast for the eyes! Very well spotted and well captured from a great perspective!

So, no one around....Rina sneaks into the grounds to have a game or two in the LONELY playground without witnesses:):) Hi there beautiful. What game is that laid out on the ground....some form of hopscotch? Or is it just a lovely wet wobbly thing as Roger suggests? You are not a useless bloody decoy either, goodness knows what you thought Laurie was directing you towards. Hope you are well sweetie....I'm not long home after my usual all nighter. My very best wishes as always with a great big hug and an extra big kiss coming down your way..............NOW XXXX Ray
