Mary, I thank You for all the kind and generous comments but especially Your concerns for Me and My Grandfather. He is very, very weak and only the Lord knows what His fate is.
And , Yes it has been a stressful time for Me and My family, especially My Mother!
I have found Myself reminising alot lately. So many memories....

I'm with your "POP" in wishing him well, John & sorry about his wife passing away. I had some trouble with my arm & that kept me away from the computer for some time, but I'm OK now. Thanks for asking. Hope you're OK too. The very old (this photo) & the very young (its neighbor to the right) make a great duet!

My best to all of you John, what a treasure Grandparents are. Though mine are no longer living, they live within heart and soul. It must warm you inside to know what a wonderful life he has led.
This is IMHO the best photograph you have posted and Arnold Newman himself would be honored.
