Wow Paul!
this composition is amazing! when I saw it on the front page, I knew I wanted to check it out. Just now, did I sit and look at it. the drop shadow (that i'm sometimes not a fan of) works so freakin well here! it add another level to this image that makes my eyes fall into the overall picture!
The detail of the chairs.. the reflections...and tone changes in the window panes are fantastic! wow... great shot!
congrats on the SC award! well deserved man!

Hi Paul, excellent abstract work! Yes, upon closer inspection it is a building, just looking at the photo gives you an impression of someone's shadow! So you were at the "other" building taking the shot? I like how you've framed the photo as well. I'm learning PS Elements and I have a heck of a time doing frames and correcting distortion... Oh well.

Personally,i would like to see a tad more saturation and would go with a chocolate border like you have before the periwinkle one...the peri one clashes to my eye...but it is the shot that counts and ya did good,sweetie ;>

What a fabulous city scene, well captured and something I never expected when I clicked on the thumbnail. You are doing very well with your 20D and it thrills me. I just got a 30D and am extremely happy.
Congratulations on Staff Choice, you deserve it for this. Not only a great photograph but very well presented with the framing.

Those are balconies and chairs on a hotel about 10 blocks away.

Congratulations for SC. At first I thought this was shot of building but then looked like shadow of person standing behind glass block wall. After reading about I guess it's your reflection giving scale and what looked like floors of building is no more than several foot section? Interesting
