Thanks, Craig. I'll have to go back at the New Year, when all the kimonos will be out in force. But then you get these gorgeous-looking women with scruffy males in tow... always amazes me.

I prefer the B&W version except for day packs and T-shirts which for me take away from the vintage feel of the image.

It is certainly strange to see a mono toned shot of this subject material from you Roger but I do think it works well. Good details and lots of interest as the crowds scurry by. Well done to you my friend on a wonderful busy street scene...All the best.......Ray

Hi Roger,
I think your presentation in BW is well done. the wide angle is not really visible/annyoing, so you did the right thing here.
best wishes, Thilo

Not irritated in the least. I just prefer B&W for this one, Gabriela.

RIGHT SO! dear Roger and I apologize for the confusion in my head! Sorry, very sorry! BUT....this one is in soft browns, so beautiful, WHY turn it into sober greys?? No, I do not try to pick you to pieces, it's just a question. Hope you don't get irritated, it's not my intention. Best regards, Gabriela

Well, for you, Gabriela, I post the original colour version. You may have it confused with the more baroque shrine nearby...

Dear Roger, I prey to differ! I believe the shrine looks fantastic in red!Yes, one can admire the architecture, the beautiful lines of walls and sweeping roofs, but you robbed it of its Japanese baroque character.Sorry, but too much grey for my taste! Best regards, gabriela

Thank you, GG. A lot of greys, yes, but no really good whites! I think I got the contrast a little wrong, somehow. I am trying to learn a new film. How strange it must be when you have a digital camera and cannot change films!! I think I would miss that...

Hello Roger, the image is really full of greys and detail. Maybe the perspective could be exagerated but I like to read the stories moving in the image
