I like this in colour. Your composiiton makes me feel like I could be standing right there in the foreground enjoying this wonderful scene. I really like all the differing shades. That little shack must have some very interesting tales to tell. Great shot.

Hi Chad, with the sun behind me really couldn't do much about the shadows, did try cropping and posted an other version to get rid of them. As far as the colors between the late afternoon sun hitting the red rocks, they are very much how they actually looked. It was cool and I think it had rained within a day.

The richness of the almost autumnal colours are gorgeous. So warm. The different shades and textures - sort of 3d against that great blue. Brilliant picture Mark.

Nice shot. I'd desaturate the reds a little bit in this. Also the shadows in the middle of the frame are somewhat of a distraction. Its a big dark void in the middle of a bright photo causing the eye to wander away from the subject. I'd try shooting this at a different time of the day to avoid those shadows.
