Hi Txules,

Very powerful shot, with a strong atmosphere. The centered compositon works well in this case, as it emphasises the perspective. As to the composition of the horizon, I think placing it on the horizontal centerline, making optimal use of the symmetrical axis of the frame could've made it a tad stronger. I'd go with Petal's suggestion...

Cheers,

Hugo

A wonderful perspective and the light is goregeous. Your work gets better and better. Horizon is fine for me in this particular instance.

Oooh dear me!. this is awesome. personally i love the "dead" horizon, the juxtoposition works well with the two colours. (my only nit is that the tracks aren't centered)

awesome work my man!

all the best!

Buenisima composicion. Gran colorido y una perspectiva sensacional. Me agrada mucho las texturas en PP y la simetri de las lineas con los cables.
Felicitaciones

Thanks Petal for your time, may be it improves a bit but the electric lines seems to be asymmetric anyway :)

A 'solution' after the fact: cropping... You could crop a bit from the right. That way the 'off symmetry' part will shift to the back... It's for you to decide what you prefer... Had a go at it to show you what I mean, hope you don't mind... have a look see... ;-D

thanks Petal, very good critic; the question is how can i improve the symmetry using this wide angle lens; i´ve tried with PS2 but the results are poor. Thanks again...

Great shot!! I'm not sure too... ;-D But I see or rather can understand your dilemma: more sky (2/3) and the railway gets 'compressed' and the other way around the pic gets a bit boring with all that grey gravel... so I think this is the best solution. Great lonely mood, perspective and colors... well captured and next time... get the symmetry completely right... ;-D
