Looks like space... Nice shot.

I did this last year - in olive oil. This one uses ink in oil. I have others using vinegar and all manner of kitchen liquids. It's a rich area...

Annika, on one of my shots (thank you for your comments) you asked about thumbnails not showing up. I do not know the answer to this question, but if you post the question in the Suggestion forum, perhaps someone with better technical knowledge can help you. I hope you continue to participate in this community, I looked at your website and see that you have a wonderful photographic talent!

Very cool abstract, Annika. Like Marilia, I look forward to your next posts. Can you tell us more about how you set up this shot? What kind of container was the oil and vinegar in? How did you light it? This is so nice, WELCOME to Usefilm :)

No More   {K:437} 3/12/2003
This is very close to how they did psychedelic light shows in the 1960's by placing coloured oils between glass plates and rotating them infront of high temperature light projectors. When the oils heated up between the plate glass it would agitate and start jumping and squirming creating your classic acid trip. Nice effect with the balsamico, I hope you used it as the base to a nice salsa.

I'll just go put some Syd Barrett on...

Simon,
