Thanks Mark for explaining- get it now. I kept wondering was it the one picture re worked. Don't know what the doorman's prob. was- he should be glad you're advertising the place!

The color version is very close to the original very little crop on that one. This is me lying on the floor using the camera like a periscope. These are hanging from a ceiling, about three stories in height, and this is me looking straight up at them. I was walking around trying to make sure I didn't have any of the wires in the picture.
The doorman wasn't pleased with me, this was a cool place and I didn't fit the image at that moment. :-)
I like the door too, made it feel a bit art-deco, and after all the roundness I thought it might make an interesting break. But no reason not to try it without though.
Thanks for asking Mary

Amazing how different the B&W is Mark. The clarity lighting and textures still brillaint but sadder. It is like a dream through a slightly open door that can't be opened. Did you cut alot and reverse the image sideways?

Oh, this is quite a different story!!!Very classy and elegant! And like Douglas [Sunset Man] pointed out, the "white window" should disappear, it bothers the eye.You did something very special here! Regards, Gabriela

Really like your presentation. The slight grey over by the lower left mushroom I like as in contrast to the black area in the upper right, I feel like it gives a sense of depth if only a little bit. That light bar is actually a window to the outside. I liked it because it's almost a rest area for the eye. I understand though by getting rid of it I can see a nice flow developing too. I was thinking about printing and hanging this one, now I have much more to think about. Maybe a couple practice printings at Kinko's for .99 cents, to get the printed feel right.
Thank you Sunset Man for the time taken, glad you liked
Mark

Anyway ... the attached is my conception of how it should be offered for presentation compositionally but at 1600% there is background work which needs to be faded further to B&W for printing ... Yes/No?

Mark,
I took a peak at your colour version with a totally different composition which I wasn't too pleased with to tell you the truth, but I am a bit mezmerized by this one or I would not have stopped by to comment.
The thumbnail looked as though they were 'portabella magical mushrooms' in an abstract format which makes it very and/or quite interesting to say the least.
That doorway light top right corner though I believe should be eliminated not exactly as a distraction but throws off the continuity of the overall bliss of such a great B&W with mystical qualities.
Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!
P.S. Great 'title' btw ...
