I agree the image is smaller than I would like. But I think it is interpretive. The frame on the top and bottom right is the film holder marks made by a sheet of 4x5, 8x10, or larger sheet film. It is an indication that what you are looking at is a contact print.

You know I can't pass up a chance to look at your work when I see it on here. This is particularly thought-provoking. I haven't your other work with this individual, but he has all the look of an elderly peripatetic on pilgrimage. I guess because of the head covering, there seems to be something reverential in his posture. As always, I'm in awe of the tonality and detail of the work. Another fine one, Gary.
