Hi Bill, Thank you so very much for your comments on my images. This was Shot at KE'E beach in Kauai, while on my honeymoon. Ke'e beach ends at the northwest point of Kauai, it also is the Starting point for the Napali Coast. Kind Regards
Sam Graziano

This imagery I also find compelling. I suspect this is the north Pacific coastline?

hi there...i think this image in true b/w (not sepia)with good black n' white pts. and/or in color with good blues n' sunny colors would be a good candidate for an award IMO...why don't you post one of each and then i will choose which one i think works best....then i would place this in the seascape category...some very good elements and depth in this comp,Sam regards, gayle

Hi Sam, very spectacular and moody image. The strip of light on the horizon is just magic.
Just curious why you converted this to a sepa-ish tone; in my mind I'm trying to see this one in colour, with a spectacular combination of blue hues, creating the distance cue, the warm yellow of the sun, and grey / brownish tones in the sky, adding up to an even more dramatic image. Quite similar to your "Incoming Power" photo, yet with a tad more saturation... Great shot, very, very spectacular!
Cheers,
Hugo

Fantastic Sam! I love this image and everything about it. The cliffs looks great with the one in the foreground being the darkest and then gradually getting lighter on each one thereafter.
The feel of the ocean looks great with the waves in the foreground and the splash of water.
Lighting is perfect and the brownish tint looks great.
