You should definately have keptht he red flower. It adds a lot of interests, and really makes the image pop. I really enjoyed this capture.

Thanks for commenting Mike.I was wondering whether or not to crop down a little from the top to exclude the bud,top right but I think the flower needs that space and so I left it in .

Excellent colour mix and contrast. I also like the balance. At first I was wondering about the placement of the red but after looking at the detail in the shadows and buds below I agree with your selection. Great shot!!!
