About Yes, the cherry blossom season. This is a less extreme panorama taken with my swing-lens Widelux. The contrast was a little strong, and I toned it down a little in PaintShop Pro.

Gabriela, I went into town yesterday (Saturday) to take the cherry blossoms at Chidorigafuchi and the Yasukuni Shrine, but I couldn't take panoramas because of the jostling crowds... I ended up taking pictures of THEM.

Hi, John. The cherry blossom season is so short, a week or ten days at most--and only at its best for one or two of those--that you'll be lucky to catch the Washington blooms looking good. That "ditch," by the way, is full to the brim with a roaring spate of water after a typhoon!

Roger I shall think of you this week. I'll bein Washington DC and I have heard that their blossoms are out also. If only I get time to sight see! If the blosssoms are the subject, why run this unimppressive ditch down the middle of the frame? Sorry.

Wonderful!!! You beat me to it! We went today and it was HORRIBLY crowded! So crowded that one hardly can call it enjoyment! I love the perspective here, it is one of my favourite angles.
Friendly regards,
Gabriela
