It is waterfront. I've owned two cottages in the area that you speak of. This looks beyond a "fixer-up".

Christian, thanks for advice, I may wait another month or so for the greens to spring up and I will present it to my wife again to lure her to this nice place - looks cozy too. I can't however predict the chances to go and get it and this is how things work when one leave a decision to his woman. Sweet, n.j

NJ, was this a logging camp at one time or simply an old vacation camp? Definitely make your decision based on the property and location. There are plenty of log cabin firms up your way with packages that are not overly expensive . Good luck to you and your wife. - Christian

I like that this "cottage" is tucked away, peeking out at us through the shrubs. Nice capture.

Hi NJ...I think you should put an offer on it, places like this are getting snapped up around here! What a cute little cottage. With some tender loving care I'm sure it would be idyllic. Susie

Annemette, simillar situation here in Canada and my wife would love to live waterfront house or even a cottage so I'm looking for one. The one did not impressed her much either, but for me it's a beauty and scenic setup for photography shot. So that's what I did here. Cheers, n.j

Hi Andrzej, A nice little fixer upper. Needs a little attention, It's fun to think of how this place might have looked in it's prime. Imagine about 60 years ago. A station wagon load of kids and parents, with fishing rods and bathing suits, making their way down a dirt road to this little cabin. Andre

In Denmark people pay lots of mony to live near water, but I´m not quiiite sure this one would be so appealing;-) A great cottage to have as a base if going hiking or fishing, I´m sure! Nice contrast between the painted cottage and the surrounding coulours of nature. Best wishes, Annemette
