Thank you very much Ray!

I wish there was a way to allow people to see some images 1:1, full rez. There is so much going on in this... I get lost in it sometimes. I think I've printed it more than anything before.

Very glad you like it. Thanks again for you very kind comments.

cheers,
-Joel

An amazing mono toned study Joel taken from an amazing angle. I love the light and shadow caused by the light source and the feeling of infinity that you have created. Well done Joel. Best wishes....Ray

So, you're saying that you don't like glossy? ;)

Yeah.. not a fan at all of glossy. It's so easy, and find myself looking around the glare to the image below. Matte it is then! Very excited to get back home to start printing this. My feeling about printing this on matte is that it's going to add so much more depth to the image, because those blacks are going to make everything else look like it's floating.

First..gotta fix the rotation. drives me nuts that I can't fix that here. Life sure is tough sometimes. ;)

thanks again Rina!

cheers,
-Joel

Was about to tell you off about the rotation. Thought maybe you'd been looking at way too long and way too late at night... :)) But I just dragged into PS to check it myself and you're right man! Ok, as for choice of material, personally I'd go for anything that's NOT glossy. No semi, quart, eighth or even minute-specks-hovering-above gloss. But hey, that's just me. I say, go for the matte Joel!

Thank you very much Rina!

I'm glad you like this one! It's my favorite out of the 4 as well (don't tell the other 3... you know how it is). Being a freak about details, I feel it needs to be rotated ccw about 1 degree.. and then it's print worthy! Going to print oversized tonight... what do you think for something like this.. simi-glossy... heavy-weight matte, or vivid white watercolor paper? Matte edge... no matte.. the things that keep me awake at night.

thanks again... so glad you like it!

cheers,
-Joel

Out of the four Joel, I think this one is it. The one I would hang on a wall in my office. Could look at this all day. Endless. The gradual shift from shadows to light is so silky smooth... yeah, great work.

Cheers
Rina.

Great B&W tones!!! Wonderful pattern, angle and perspective... well captured!! Love the fact that the image goes from light to dark from right to left, you chose the right side/angle of the sun to take this shot!!!

Glad you like this one Michael. It pulls me in also from it's lines. Hard to tell here, but there's another level of detail in the windows that adds another level of perspective lines converging at the bottom of the frame.

Thank you very much for having a look at all of them, and the very kind comments!

cheers,
-Joel

This is my favorite of the three due to the geometric regularity of the shot - the perspective and lines are lined up perfectly with wonderful tones across.

Thank you for your comments Sameer! very kind!

The shadow is a funny thing for sure in this image. I don't know either! ....but I keep getting lost in looking at it. I'm glad that you like it!

best.

it feels to be infinite.
only thing is that the picture is devided in dark part at left (due to shadow) and bright part on. I don't know if is good or bad as the current image is also stunning.
good work.
