About This island reminded me of the tv show lost. Its a reflection of a sun rise on what I tried to make look like a cliff of a strange island. The splash comes from me throwing rocks way up high and trying to get them to land in shot. After a couple throws I really was wishing for digital :-) or at least a trip cord for the shutter. Like the way this came out but will go back again with some help and see we can get a rainy sunrise.

The bottom bit of water and haze I left in to add to the effect. Taken at Pflugervile's new "lake". Thanks for looking.

Your mind works in mysterious ways, Mark. This is marvelous. I would say this is my very favourite of all of yours I've seen. It is like an optical illusion with the water circles being beside a small piece of ground or above a large expanse of land. Wonderful colours. This is creative and very intriguing. Terrific. I love it.

I just think most of your reflection captures are awesome Mark, they are such a pleasure to view and study!

I can see everything you tell in your description, neat.

How do you think of things and how to put them together- it is wonderful. I know little about photography, so can only imagine it can't have been easy. But the meaning and efffects always grab me. There is so much in it. The colours, ripples, reflections, textures and the size and position of that splash. Brilliant and all of a piece.
