Great scene with intricate branch patterns Dave. I would crop out 50% of the snow in the foreground to strengthen the composition and place more emphasis on the trees. The red bench adds that spark needed to bring this alive. Regards.

It really looks coldly beautiful! We only had a few flakes here the other day! I came visiting to say thank you for offering me an opportunity to make the front page! It was my pleasure, as the flowers were indeed impressive. We'll be buying some such flowers, too! My wife liked them a lot!

I'm the second viewer to chose this as a favorite, Dave. Well deserved!
I'm gradually getting to know my new camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ 30, gift from Rachel for my 76th birthday & the photos are also gradually improving. Thank you so much, my friend, for commenting on them. (Some of the recent ones were still made with the Fuji 9000, which proved to be a disappointment. They had to be corrected in P.S.)

WOW Dave....I never know whether to envy your photographic opportunities in that kind of weather or cry for you in sympathy my friend.
This is another wonderful Winter scene and I particularly love the colour in the bench in amongst all that black and white. I love the details in the trees as well with their snow laden branches. STUNNING. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Been like this here too today... but spring is surely on her way.. for buds we see now in the tree's and colours forming in good cheer.. spring truly is near.
