...something tells me the bench is there as Mr. Wright intended. The light pool around it is perfect.... like the rest of the building. The man knew more about light than anyone in his time.
Thank you again john! i'm glad you like this capture. It's one of my new personal favorite images.
cheers, -Joel

Joel,
A great architectual shot you have captured. One element I love about this shot/building is the round bench on the lower level is just off to the left by about three feet, I wonder if Mr. Wright scripted this.
Regards, John

What a great architectural image. I like the angle of view and colours. I think I was in San Rafael in the Golden State.

Thank you very much Jeanette! I'm happy that you like the reflections! my jaw nearly fell off when I saw that in the image when I got home and saw it on my screen. Luck of the sun's location! I may have this building here...but you have that water tower!! ;)
thanks again jeanette for your comments!!

Nice symmetri here, works well and this architecture with round smooth corners is terrific - i wish we had something like it over here. I like the light reflections from the windows on the right... and also how we see different levels of floors under each other. Good work done Joel, your travel payed off well.

Clearly, when Frank Loyd Wright designed this building (his last), he knew where the light would travel, and where to put the round benches. This building is also our courthouse for the county. It's a beautiful building. (See the movie Gattica, or THX-1138? ...same building). Had to attend Jury duty there last week, and it made me wish I had my camera (as always). So.... went there today, when only the library was open.
thank you very much once again for your very kind comments!
cheers, -Joel
