i think its nice and soft.. maybe a different composition would do better..

Hello Ed,
I'm not convinced for the light probably a more soft effect is better for these subjects. The shadows are too strong (my personal opinion).
Anyway I know nothing about IR films so I can't understand how you can get a softer light with it :)
