Thanks, Don. I agree. I wanted a high key pic, but I think it did come out a little too garish and bright. (Can't try it again just yet. I ate all the jelly beans. Ooops.) Cheers, Ann.

Another stunning image! Great colours and comp!

Lollies can make a great image! Did you see my Licorice Allsorts? The 'Strips of Colour' pic recently won me a POTD on Photo Showdown.

Back to your image - it's great!

Cheers

Phil

The idea is very good, but I feel that the picture is overexposed and the highlights are blown out. Try this again with a little less exposure. Don.

Thank you, Petal. I think you were right about the colour. I did eat the Jelly beans and I didn't feel too good after.( Of course, all that sugar may have had something to do with it. LOL!)
Cheers, Ann.

Nice shot Ann! I like the dof, it works really well here with the intense focus on the forward beans. Nice lighting too. Well done still life.

Well.......... looks like you did... LOL!!! I'm not sure if I would like to eat these (jelly) beans though... way too much color, but as an image it looks neat!! It looks good against the white, not sure I would've used that glass to let them spill out of... a plain one would've given some nice reflections as well, maybe... Good composition, neat idea... well done!!
