I like a lot about this photo, Joggie. The composition, clarity, and colors are all absolutely terrific. One thing I would consider altering would be the more vertical piece that holds the glass. In the photo it looks a bit scratched and its luster makes it look a bit cheap compared to the metal of the mirror. Maybe darkening that piece would help bring the piece more in harmony with the metal of the mirror.

I did enjoy this image, especially the way you hid yourself in the reflection. Could be fun if you positioned a beautiful lady as to reflect in the reflected parts other than a few people standing around.
I do enjoy your work.

Hi Joggie, The level of abstractism as well as the level of details and contrast in tones make this one stand out. Very well composed. Although the slight flares seem a bit redundant to me, I think they do add to the feel of the texture and material. Very intriguing and elaborate reflection.
I do think you have a few dust spots on your sensor (or are they just a few specks in the otherwise spotless mirror?) just to the left of the circles of the mount.
Very good shot, and well captured.

Fantastic shot! A clever perspective in this mirror shows it's unusual shape but is also very strong as an abstract image. The combinations of oval and rectangular shapes and lines is very interesting ans appealing. Great use of color in the reflections. This is an imaginative shot, good eye to see this!

Thanks Paul - much appreciated. My main limitation here was the 28mm or rather 42mm with 1.5 digital factor included. I really wished for a wider angle lense on all of these car shots. Guess I need to save up!

great perspective and lighting, the color of the sky is great..this is one of those images that I love but not sure if it can be improved or not. I think from the angle you captured it, it is great. Maybe a different angle would make the composition stronger but who knows.... anyway, excellent work at taking something simple and making it great.

The hard light on the chrome creates a very clean, almost posterized, three dimensional effect. This is a very striking element in this photo's success. I also like the balance created by the windshield and the diagonal highlight ending in flare at the edge. This matches perfectly with the flare top right of the mirror. Beautiful play on metallic tones.

A beautiful shot--the details of the object and the reflections are beautifully established. The composition also creates an almost mysterious floating effect--a subtle optical illusion. A wonderful record, a fine interpretation of a real classic.
