I know I've been here before, but this one popped under "random images". I can't believe it only got 9 comments (up to now) - I think this is a stunning drop shot that should surely have attracted more attention. That marble effect is wonderful.

To tell the truth I wonder how this image did not get any awards! I feel affection for the marbling and the handsome softness in the ripples. The tile sounds perfect! The colours and silhouettes are complete idea! Without any doubt it is one of my favourites images!7+

This is the best, the detail is just wonderful in these drops. Could you give a little detail on f stop, shutter and what lighting were you using. The water is such a great color. Food coloring???. Great work. Don.

This one is also superb. I love the colour and the marbling, and the beautiful smoothness in the ripples.

Hi, Miranda. I used a +4 Hoya close-up filter and a tripod, plus the built in flash. I've taken a lot of macro with this little lens, (before I bought the Tamron) and have found it quite good. It's just not as flexible as a dedicated Macro as I have to be in very close all the time when using the filter, and very small subjects don't fill the frame. Cheers, Ann.
