Nice series Roger. This is one of my favorites, in that, even though it shows a more detailed rendition of the creek, it holds alot of interesting visuals such as various reflective light qualities and rippling patterns. Very nice work indeed!

Yeah thanks John its hard to miss in a place like this... I had stopped here in the morning as we drove down the Alpine way and had taken some shots but kind of dismissed the Ck as not a lot to offer.. on the way home (retracing our steps) I stopped again, this time with the afternoon sun beginning to dip behind a hill it was completely different because the light was so much softer. I spent about 30 mins just ambling down the stream.. I had only taken a 1 Gb card with me and so was deleting stuff from earlier in the day.. but I could have shot for another 30 mins into dusk and had a great time… once some of the distracting hot spots had disappeared but yeah .. well I wasn’t alone LL sitting in the car waiting for me and there’s only so many sodoku puzzles you can do in a day ..so I had to walk back up stream and head back to Thredbo… next year Leather barrel will be a destination in itself, and this time I’ll take the tripod.. ooohh my achin’ legs!
