You really have everyone guessing with this one Mohamed? The spikes almost look like certain kinds of shark teeth. I know it can't be that, so I will guess some kind of outer protection thorns on a kind of plant we don't have around here.
Andre

PS I like the way you go out of your way to always have an interesting quote of some sort with all your images.

Great macro Mohamed! I've never seen anything like it, it looks like a herd of a hundred rhynoceros! Excellent detail and lighting and great DOF! Wonderful quotes as usual :) Best regards, Ina

What an unusual sight. At first I thought it was a very dangerous tree trunk. One that I would not fall asleep under I mgiht add but now I'm thinking it's a great close up of a rose bush branch with all those thorns. Seems like an awful lot of throns for a rose branch though. Most unsual and makes for a winderful abstract with great patterns. Well seen and captured.

Thank you also Mohamed for your lovely comment on my waterfall image.

Cheers - Ann :)

Two very apt quotes my dear Mohamed. Well here we have a tree/plant that is set to protect itself. Those thorns look exceedingly sharp. Well done to you my friend...Best wishes...Ray

Interesting selective elements and framing, the excellent dof made the subject separated perfectly from the ground, lovely texture finding and capture.
