Always a pleasure to see the first blooms of a new year Sheila and these look very beautiful sweetie. Great colours, good details and an excellent dof to make them stand out all the more. Oh boy, have I been craving the lovely sunshine that we were blessed with today! We even made it out to Elizabeth Park for a while. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera with me! I had to sneak out to the garden and capture these lovely flowers begining to bloom when we got back.

Nice dof Sheila, and the dark background really POPS the yellow! Good choice of framing, too! Wasn't it nice to have some sunshine for a change?!!!
