About I asked the person in the forground to lean against the railing for the entire 90 seconds. This gave me one person with full exposure.

Dhimant,

It is a 90 second timelapse with an 8x10 camera and 250 wide field ektar lens. Uncoated so much flare. No photoshop. Thanks for your comment. You do very nice work. Best wishes, Gary

Thanks for your comments Maggie,

The man was already leaning on the pole in conversation with a friend...I did not want to interfere with his "being", so i just asked him if he would hold still for a couple minutes while I was taking a photograph.

Gary, I have to bring this one up again, especially since I get a 7 hour layover in Paris on my return from the U.K. on 4/5. Wish me luck, and wet streets after a rain! Geese, I wish I had your cameras, had someone to carry them, and knew what to do with them!

This is still my favorite, but it runs real close with Amsterdam. Thanks for mentioning Bresson. I am sorry to say my photography courses did not include him for some strange reason. I will learn about him now! Thanks!

I love this, very creepy and yet pleasing. I think you should take up this style. This is art.

Hey Gary...very cool...not your usual style *smile* I like it very much. I wish you had had this guy lean on the post farther down...i keep wanting to see in front of him to see whats down that street. Know what i mean. But then maybe you had a reason for putting him in that position that i dont know about. Great Shot however you look at it...*smile* Maggie

Great shot! It remiinds me of a scene out of a jack the ripper film. or one of the star trek holodeck shots.

Terry is so right. This really has a feel of Atget to it. This is such a creative piece of work. It all fits together so well. I'd love to hang this one on my wall. Wonderful job.

Beautiful work! Street photography with an 8x10 take a special talent. This reminds me of Atget's Paris scenes inhabited by phantoms.

Very catchy... I like this picture... small change to this could be the person standing upfront could have been positioned in the right 3rd. Otherwise I like it.
