Oh yes, looking at such a gorgeous end of a day sure make me feel happy!!! What a stunning view, beautiful colors, love the 'smooth, white' water effect from the long exposure, excellent composition... well captured (as usual... ;-D)!!!

Can't speak for Pat, but I think this is the work of a hard graduated ND filter, SOP for the Timecatcher team at sunset or sunrise.
Still enjoy the portfolio, and I like this shot as well as the recent waterfall image because they broaden out beyond the high wide angle depth shot of 3/4 foreground and 1/4 horizon which seems to be the standard.

...oppure è uno scatto composto da due foto? una al cielo e una al mare?

Incredibly beautiful scene. One thing bothers me though... the shading of the shadows doesn't seem consistent through the image. The rocks in the foreground have a lot of detail, but they seem as though they've been dodged. I'd have expected them to have a little bit more of a darker feel. Similarly the trees on the large rock to the left seem to have a lighter feel to them than the rest of the rock they're on. Granted the image is spectacular and my critique is merely to help you perfect your excellent photography skills. I'm wondering are these things I'm noticing the aftermath of postproduction work (masking, dodging, etc.)? If they are then a little more polish may be in order.

A stunning image with a wonderful sense of balance between the colours blended wonderfully with the composition.
The place must be heaven for a photographer.

Like the smoky effect of the long exposure on the waves and the gorgeous colours of the sunset. Nicely done Patrick.

fantastica.. come sempre... per fare un secondo di esposizione con quel controluce hai usato un filtro ND? se si di quale intensità, 4 o 8? comunque uno scatto mozzafiato.. 7/7
