I don't know what it is, but I *never* tire of looking at old barns and photographing them. Great shot! Can you imgagine all the stories this noble building could tell if it could talk.

This shot has a distinct graphic quality, the building of the barn is so cleanly drawn as if the sky were a drawing board.The atmosphere is spring like, so where's the famous Canadian winter? (We had sleet here yesterday night!)I like the yellow grass, it is something one can see only in winter, and the black lacy trees.A wonderful capture, Andrzej!

Fantastic colors in this one, Andrzej! Where do you find these treasures? You must have a "barn detector" -you and my friend Kathy Hillard! I too have shot an old barn yesterday, I hope to post it soon. Didn't you just love the warm weather and the sunny skies? The cloudsin your composition add very much to the already beautiful red and grey barn, and the yellow wavy terrain is beautiful in the foreground. I love the primary colors : red, yellow and blue together, a very happy combination! Great composition and graphic quality with those two trees perfectly placed! A beautiful postcard from Ontario! We are having fantasic weather this year in Ontario Andrzej!
You are absolutely right this does not look like January in Ontario. I was out yesterday in some woods near Oshawa looking for birds, and it felt like early May.
This is a nice farm scene, very pleasing colours all round. Too bad you didn't have some geese in this shot, like I had in a similar one of mine :)

Good contrast of colors between the dry grass, barn & sky. I'd increase the saturation a little more for punch, with those clouds I believe this would look equally good converted to b&w (Grayscale). Well captured & seen otherwise Andrzej, regards.
