Next time when I come to ZA again, I'll also keep an eye out for the colourful frogs existing in your country...
Amazing capture of such a cute guy and perfect composition again!
Great macro, Joggie!

Hi Joggie, Very good animal portrait, and a good scene, as wit the chameleon, using the scenery to create a frame as well as a base for the frog. I One small point of critique, though. I thin you could've spent a little more time in masking / obscuring the flash reflection in it's eye (blurring it a bit, and removing the donut shape would do the trick, I believe)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Salvatore - Thanks for your valid comment and interest. In comparison yours is definitely less noisy and the sharpness around the eye and snout much improved. I am impressed - dont have these programs though and no funds at this time to purchase (take the price you pay and multiply by 7 for South African prices!). Do you know perhaps of freeware on internet that can do the same - especially the Focus Magic? Thanks a lot!

That is sure a cute picture and the composition really helps alot. The details, on that fog, makes me feel I can feel his exture of his skin. The colors and dark background really work well together to make the frog stand out. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic! What a Macro. I like the macro ring in his eye, and the color is incredibly rich!

Joggie, I hope you don't get offended but I processed your picture with 2 pieces of software that are Photoshop plug-ins that I used on your macro. 1st. Noise Ninja to kill the digital noise, then Focus Magic to slightly resharpen the image both after the noise reduction with 'Ninja' or after resizing to post them.
Please look and let me know what you think.
