Cheers Art! You know, I have to agree with you about preference. Composition wise, gambogian falls a bit short. Nice sky and all but not balanced well.
Strange how images you think are so-so end up getting loads of attention and the ones you're most proud of (and are technically or artistically better), not as much.
Thanks for swinging by and giving me your opinion. Really appreciate the honesty!
p.s. Do you think you could kitty into any other perilous predicaments? hehehe... just kidding :))

Unfortunately, I was sent off across the Tasman with merely the bare essentials. Equipped with filters for only ONE of my TWO lenses (tsk) It's unheard of really...

Rina, this is a really gorgeous panorama, and ideal for the new larger panorama display. My, what a difference the extra pixels make! We so seldom get interesting skies here in Japan, at least in my part of the country... Thanks for your kind comment on my dog-yeared photo.

Oh WOW sweetie...this was worth waiting to see on a decent monitor in it's full panoramic glory. The colours are breathtaking; yellows, golds,burnt orange and rusty reds. The sky details are glorious and the moody hills and rises complete this wonderful atmospheric composition. Well done you gorgeous Sheila:):):)
